Constructed in 1990 for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, Port Olímpic is an iconic space in the city of Barcelona.
It is replete with recreational and leisure offerings and enjoys a privileged location between the beaches of Barceloneta and the Vila Olímpica, directly in front of unique buildings like the Torre Mapfre and the Hotel Arts, as well as Frank Gehry's famous and well-known sculpture. This all makes the marina a place that all residents can enjoy, as well as a landmark and attraction for visitors to the city.
As a sports marina, it has 705 berths and full services for docking and launching boats. Water sport lovers can sail and do a wide range of activities on the sea.
With its 30 years of history, the Port Olímpic is now taking a new direction. Social changes and new urban and city-dweller trends and habits, as well as the need to make improvements to the infrastructure, all led to the decision to execute works to integrate the port into the city and make it a safe and high-quality space, connected to the sea, and experienced by one and all.
A space committed to the environment and sustainability, open both to the sea and the city, an engine for opportunities.
A meeting point for everyone who loves and enjoys the sea.
